Impressive and Easy
Let me start by saying it’s astounding the level of technology one can buy for $25! This camera uses technology so sophisticated it couldn’t have even been made a decade ago yet here it is!I wanted a simple, inexpensive, battery powered wi-fi capable camera that would WORK (I’m not nearly as impressed with my Ring cameras and service as others). After much research, this seemed like the one to take a chance on. I must say, I am impressed! The camera comes in a little box, with a little, swivel mount, and a short, USB charging cable. The app that controls this thing is easily found in the app store or Google play, and like all good apps, self-installs, and immediately seeks out wi-fi and is ready for the camera. Switching on the camera makes it visible and in seconds, it’s connected. The camera comes partially charged, but I plugged it in an let it get a full charge. The camera has a single, useful light that illuminates in red, green blue to denote what’s happening.It took about 5 minutes to auger the screw inserts into my stucco wall – like chipping through concrete! I used a 3/16″ drill bit and though it might be too large but turns out it was a bit small, which made tapping in the inserts fully nearly impossible. Probably a 5/32″ bit would be ideal. The camera isn’t heavy and attaches with a short screw with a locking ring. The tighter the lock ring, the tighter the little swing-arm.Once mounted, I used the app on my phone to get it aligned and then locked it down. The small camera barely catches anyone’s notice. I don’t know how long the battery will last because it depends on a lot of variables, but I can see it lasting several months or longer once the “new” wears off and we all stop clicking on the app to see what the camera is looking at! Picture clarity is fantastic! Even at night, with no supplemental light, it will pick up color, though the default setting is B&W. It does have a microphone and can be used to communicate through the camera. The app is simple, easy to figure out, and offers a 30-day cloud subscription for $6, though it also accepts an SD card and does not require any subscription. I plan to order the SD card, but for now I have the plan activated.I like this little camera – easy to put up, no wiring issues, and when it needs to be recharged it’s easily dismounted and brought inside, though I have considered buying a battery pack that would vastly extend the camera’s operation, and be easy to detach for charging while leaving the camera in place, still functional! I like this camera so much I’m going to order another to provide me with a different view. Once of my biggest issues with my Ring setup – aside from the cost and subscription bite, is its propensity to decide to go offline right about the time it NEEDS to work!This camera allows live-view, timed recording based on movement, and different sensitivity settings. As outdoor surveillance cameras go, this is an excellent value!

Excellent camera
This camera has lots of features. The views are crystal clear. You can listen to the outdoors using sounds feature on the app. The setup is straight forward. Having a built in battery is a bonus. Its been 2 weeks and the battery indicator is still full. I have another camera with a simular battery setup and the charge lasts about 6 mounths. I purchased a compatible solar panel so i dont have to keep taking the camera down to charge it.This camera has a spot light for night time if theres motion the light will turn on. Night vision has options. Black and white view, color, and color with the spot light when motion is detected. Tons of more features. The body and stand is well made. I have other cameras simular to the one. This camera is way better This camera is used for hummingbirds at the feeder so my wife can enjoy seeing them.Although they are fast you can still see them. Great quality camera overall so far
