    Excellent
Great phone, camera, the new tensor chip makes the software works smooth as expected from pure android experience. Taking into account that im upgrading from a pixel 7pro so the difference is very noticeble

I upgraded from the base Pixel 8 version.
I’m a fan of the base Pixel phones, and this time I went with the Pro version – I didn’t miss a beat. The phone feels very premium, and its performance for day-to-day tasks is lightning fast.I upgraded from the base Pixel 8 version. Someone might say it isn’t a drastic improvement, and they might be right, but I still very much like the upgrade. It brings all the great Google services with the addition of the AI assistant, making them even better. Yes, I’m biased, but I’m thoroughly enjoying using the phone.

Not the phone upgrade you are looking for
I am going from a Pixel 6 to a Pixel 10 Pro XL. You would think this would mean a massive upgrade but for the last week I’ve used the phone, it has been a slow buggy mess. I play a lot of mobile games and all of them run much slower than even my Pixel 6. There is constant frame stutters and graphical glitches. Some games won’t even install as the GPU is not recognized by some games. Installing apps from the Play store won’t create shortcuts on your home screen until hours later if at all.The only improvement over my Pixel 6 is the fingerprint recognition actually works. The facial unlock on the other hand is still hit or miss with about a 50 percent success rate. My iPad on the other hand will facial unlock 100 percent of the time even if I am 45 degrees off center and a few feet away by comparison. There is no charger included which is standard these days, but means unless you have a 45 watt charger, you will not get fast charging. I have tried several chargers or various wattages (65, 25, 15) and the phone limits you to slow charging. Then there is the battery life protection monitor which will limit you to 80 percent charge after only 100 charge cycles. The battery lasts all day for now but I am afraid to charge it so I don’t waste my cycles. So far I have been just disappointed and regret upgrading when I clearly didn’t need to as my Pixel 6 still had 2 more years worth of updates left. I don’t recommend it at all unless you have money burning a hole in your wallet. Even then I would wait for the next iteration.

My First Week with the Pixel 10 Pro: It’s Scarily Smart
Alright, so I’ve had the new Pixel 10 Pro for about a week now, and I’ve finally gathered my thoughts. Let me just say, this thing feels less like a phone and more like some gadget from a sci-fi movie.First off, taking it out of the box, it just feels premium. It has a nice weight to it—not too heavy, but it feels solid and well-built. The matte finish on the back is a lifesaver for someone like me who hates fingerprints. The screen is the real star, though. It’s a big 6.7-inch display, and everything just looks incredible on it. Scrolling is buttery smooth, and watching videos is a treat. It’s super bright too, so I had no trouble seeing it outside, even in the afternoon sun.But let’s be real, you buy a Pixel for the camera, and this one is just insane. I took it out over the weekend, and I’m blown away. The main camera takes ridiculously sharp and colorful photos without you having to do anything. But the feature I can’t stop playing with is the “Pro Res Zoom.” I was at a park and saw a cool bird way up in a tree. Normally, that would just be a blurry mess on my old phone. With this, I zoomed all the way in, and the photo is actually sharp enough to see the details on its feathers. It feels like magic.Google’s AI stuff is all over this phone. They have this new feature called “Magic Cue” that tries to guess what you need. At first, it was a little weird, but now I’m getting used to it. Like, when I was heading to a meeting, it popped up a notification with the address and traffic info without me even asking. Another fun one is “Nano Banana”—silly name, I know—but it’s this cool photo effect tool that lets you create some really artistic shots. Some of the results are a bit out there, but it’s genuinely fun to mess around with.Performance-wise, it’s a beast. The new Tensor G5 chip makes everything feel instant. Apps open right away, and I haven’t seen a single stutter, even when I’m jumping between a bunch of different apps. The battery life has been solid too. I’m a pretty heavy user—lots of photos, social media, and some videos—and I’ve been easily getting through a full day with some juice to spare. So, is it worth it? It’s definitely not cheap, but if you’re someone who loves taking pictures and wants a phone that feels like it’s one step ahead of you, I’d say absolutely. The Pixel 10 Pro isn’t just a phone with a great camera; it’s a genuinely smart device that makes everyday tasks a little bit easier and a lot more fun. I’m still discovering new things it can do, and I’m honestly excited to see what else I find
