Honeywell Thermostat Delivers Great Performance and Affordable Price
Easy to connect and install, improves over previous model. When setting up schedule, there’s only one hour and minute setting for both heat and cool, unlike earlier versions which allowed separate settings to be entered.Bonus new feature, the addition of “CIRC” to fan functions “AUTO” and “ON”. CIRC is the intermittent activation of the fan for short periods of time regardless of Heat or Cool, to keep the air circulating. Very useful.Well worth it, very good value for the price.
Easy installation, accuate operation, battery powered t-stat
Easy install that is operating central a/c. Of note: 1. Full battery (2AA) operation- no C wire; 2. Does not need R-Rc jumper; 3. Push-in wire connectors-no micro screwdriver needed.I found the ambient thermometer read accuate to +- 1 degree, fine unless you are growing bacteria cultures…Easy to set up parameters and setback times, plus a ‘Boomer Approved’ display that was easy to read even when it was not backlit…ps. Love the button activation as opposed to touch screen. Switchable, mild AI will ‘kentucky windage’ your setback setting starting the system before the setpoint, so your temperature will be there at your set time. Be careful when mating body with base as the connecting pins look delicate.
Good Reliable and Private thermostat that does just what you want it to and no suprises
Way back long ago, I started with the old mercury thermostats, and gradually got smarter and smarter thermostats, I’ve had the EcoBee and older Hunter types… Although they had some nice features on them, I just needed a thing to set the temperature when I was home. I was tired of all the issues with the “smart” thermostats and just dumped them all together. I’m much happier with a programmable type, with no wifi, no phone apps etc.. and to be honest I feel safer as well and feel my data and personal habits are not being spied on.
Avoid
I have a Honeywell I wanted to replace so I could run a schedule. Should have been easy. The unit would not turn on the AC no matter what I did. Hired an electrician. He could not get it to work either. Maybe I got a lemon. But I wasn’t about to buy another one. I just put the old one back on there.
Nice
Sleek and modern. I replaced an older Honeywell thermostat which worked fine but had a much smaller display. I didn’t like to have to get up and walk over to see the temperature. This has a big current temperature display I can read from anywhere in the room. I just have two wires so I needed a battery powered thermostat. My old Honeywell used two AAA batteries and they lasted a full year. This one takes two AA which should last longer. Very easy to install with the manual. Highly recommended!
Great Thermostat
This thermostat was a direct replacement for one in service. Wanted a programmable unit that would also run furnace fan motor in circulation mode only. This way it circulates heat from a woodstove throughout the home. Customer service was great in reassuring me it would plug directly into the existing wall plate.

Good product
Easy to install, slightly difficult to program, especially to program seven individual days. Overall good robust product.
