We painted the house and needed to update our lighting. These lanterns are sleek, big, and bright. They are well made and ease to install. They definitely add charm to the house.

Update on first review.
This is an update on my original review. Amazon gave me the email for the manufacturer of this product. I reached out to them and ultimately heard back .They could not send the missing part , but they sent a new light fixture. So I want to emphasize that the seller stands by their product and wants the customer to be satisfied.In conclusion the light fixtures are beautiful and I love them . The seller seamlessly worked to ensure the problem was resolved.I bought 3 of these for the outside of my homeand had them installed. I love the fixtures ; however, one of the lamps was minus a dusk till dawn attachment. I called Amazon in hopes of just getting the part because I don’t want to have to pay to have a new fixture installed, because the 30 days had expired they referred me to the manufacturer. I couldn’t call because it’s in China. Amazon gave me an email contact and they have not contacted me. The 30 days expired because I couldn’t have them installed while we were doing some outside re-hab on the house. Bottom line they are a beautiful lamp but no manufacturer support. So think twice.

The lights made it the second time without being broken or happy
Coach light for the front of my garage. The first set was broken. The second set came in good condition and we put them on looks just fine.

This is a very large light, and very solidly built. Note that it is really heavy, so you will want to ensure that you have a solid junction box in place with correct supporting behind before installation. You’ll also want to ensure you have space for it. I actually ended up putting it on my garage vs. my porch because it was so big I’d have bonked my head on it – my bad for not properly measuring. This light looks very regal due to the size.Installation is standard. Neutral/hot and ground. Make sure that you connect the sensor part outside on the top prior to install. We put a small bead of silicone on the inside of the sensor just to ensure no water leaking in, even though there is a proper connector, just to be on the safe side.The metal on this light is super good quality. Very sturdy and heavy duty. No poor finishes, or scratches, and seems like it will hold up over time. The glass is nice as well.Takes 2 standard chadelier style bulbs. Because of this it’s not quite as bright as some other lights, however it gives a nice ‘mood light’ and enough that you can still see the door to unlock it.Overall, very nice looking light, and good quality. Looks great installed and looks like a super expensive light fixture from a specialty store. You wouldn’t guess it was an Amazon steal.

This light is the perfect light for a front porch. The size is perfect to make the front of your house look great. The fact that it has the sensor for dusk to dawn makes it convenient, so you always have a light when you come home late at night. You can find a variety of e12 light bulbs to fit the kind of brightness and color that you want. Overall, it is a great outdoor light.

Modern exterior light fixture.The black matte metal is well built and seems strong.Fairly easy installation since it’s basic.The only problem with this kit is that the 2 mounting screws for each lantern (total of 4), are too short.On one of these pictures you see the length of the screws. Not even an inch.These screws are essential since they attach the lantern piece to the structure wall.The sensor is on top.You cannot install these upside down since there isn’t a cap at the other end.The screws provided weren’t long enough to secure the whole thing.We had to get longer ones. It takes a minimum of 1.5 inch length for the screws to reach the lantern body. I would suggest the manufacturer to include longer screws in this kit.Other note, the screw threads need to fit with the caps. Or else you won’t be able to secure the lantern to the wall. It’s technical but very important to know.Besides that important note, they are pretty and work well. They come on when it’s dark outside and turn off at dawn.Good price for a kit of 2.Light bulbs not included. We used LED bulbs and they work with the lanterns.

Firstly, this “Tewei” extra large outside wall lantern is absolutely beautiful! It’s well crafted and extremely well built, using thick gauge metal…it’s heavy (8.8 lbs.). All four sides are enclosed with solid glass panels. The finish is black/aged bronze and matte with an eggshell finish.I just love the size! It makes a huge impact and certainly adds very nice curb appeal to any home. I also like that the light shines down and out in 360 degrees…so it’s excellent for lighting main entrances! It’s also very easy to change the bulbs because of the open bottom. Looks amazing with low voltage Edison bulbs.This light is rated IP65 so it’ll stand up to the elements but you can tell from the finish that it’s very well protected. It comes with the mounting bracket, connectors, and instructions. Can be installed in pairs or single applications!The only consideration I can see is the open bottom may allow bugs to get inside. It does have a frame at the bottom which would hold a piece of plexi glass. It would be super easy to have a piece cut and place in the bottom, resting along the frame if need be. Really nice outside lantern! It really is a beautiful light!

The Tewei Outdoor Lights look really elegant, are bright and have some nice features. The two light pack comes with the mounting bracket and the manual. The lights are a bit lighter than expected. But the aluminum still feels pretty sturdy so it should endure the outdoor elements. The clear glass panes are also reasonably thick and sturdy.Installing and replacing the existing lights is quick and easy only taking a few minutes. The manual has clearly written instructions to help in this installation process. The light is bright and stays solid. The dusk to dawn sensor works really well to turn the lights on and off automatically when it’s time in the morning and the evenings. The pair looks fantastic when they are lit, but just as good when they are off during the day. These will be great on any home, especially around the garage area or on the porch. Full marks from me!
