Don’t buy if you have oversize adapters plugin
My first impression is it’s compact, cool. Then I started trying to attach the main two items I bought it for which is my modem and router, I realize this is going to be difficult. I find the placement of the outlets on the back are so close it’s make difficult to plug both devices into an outlet in the battery back up side. Not to mention the bottom plug is longer than the case (see Picture.) Also, the verdict is still out as to whether or not it make it to a full charge, so far it’s only hitting on about 80%. Right now three stars are all I’m giving this backup. If the battery makes a full charge within the next 24hrs, I will update and upgrade rating.06 November 2023 – Well its been a little over six months and this UPS is still working great. Therefore my rating must change to reflect its proficiency. I will update should it anything before the first year mark.

From the Guangming District, Shenzhen, China to be exact. Well built unit and pretty compact. I hope battery maintenance isn’t a major pain but I did need a fast replacement to a problematic APC that wants either new batteries or just a power reset. Going to give this one a try and see how it does. Display is clear and pretty standard with Power In and Power Out as the primary display with battery and usage being secondary. Software is problematic. There is no software included in the box. Instructions say to go to their website to download the interface software for the USB connection. The majority of the site is in Mandarin so to many outside of The Republic it’s unreadable. You can reach the page to Download something for Windows or Linux but that’s not going to happen. For myself as long as this unit does it’s job I’ll worry about the rest later. I still have a high opinion of this device so far and I like the value. The device is basic in form and doesn’t have a bunch of bells and whistles. Although the software feature could use some serious work.

Small but useful for network backup
I’ve had several power interruptions recently of short duration. But they impacted my router, modem, and several smart hubs for my smart home. I got this to ensure that my networking infrastructure and smart home will keep working even if the power has a blip. It seems like a great value. I will see how it performs and how long the battery lasts. There is an app to monitor the system on your computer, but so far, it’s just for Windows. They say they are working on one for the Mac. I hope it comes out soon.

Used so our tankless water heater doesn’t quit during power failure.
Tankless gas water heaters are efficient but a power outage incapacitates them. A power outage mid shower forced me to finish with cold water. Ordered this as soon as I was dry. Charged it up and plugged it into the water heater outlet and plugged the water heater into it. Told the wife to run hot water from the kitchen tap and pulled the plug. The UPS started beeping to warn that it had lost power but the water heater kept going. Ran it this way for 10 minutes, long enough to finish a shower, and declared the operation a success. Most tankless water heaters draw less than 2 amps to run the electronics and blower, so that kind of draw is well within the capacity of this unit.

Beeps a lot when trying to sleep
This thing works pretty well when using it for a backup device for a single surveillance camera system… If it worked… The one I have beeps often when I try to go to sleep. Most often when a Jet or airplane fly’s over head. In my last apartment it would beep sometimes 3-4 times randomly in a row signaling that the device lost power even though everything else in the apartment was fine and running. IDK if I got a faulty one or not though I doubt it. .I’ve been having someone attacking my other device from a different company too. With it beeping at different times than this one even though they were plugged into the same fuse. I think honestly the military or someone is using these devices to boop at people they don’t want to sleep. Maybe it’s Amazon company itself, maybe it’s the FBI, CIA.. China, Military projects. IDK. I live on government assistance so maybe these ppl target me for that.. This thing beeps at me often when I try to fall asleep and it gotten so annoying I’m writing this. I think the same people who use it to beep at me when I try to fall asleep use it to turn off the security camera I bought it for because I’ve never caught the people who break into my apartment and mess with me on camera. Definitely not paranoid just another reason you might hear about crazy people pointing lasers at planes. It might only be a coincidence if it happened once… It happens all the time to me and it’s been going on for over 3 years now. I guess that’s what the government does to people who are on assistance that they want off. dead or walking zombies. Well lets see if Amazon posts this review….

I wanted a good, well rated UPS and this item fit the bill. It is easy to set up and what I like with the display so you know what load it is pullingandthe general condition of the battery.
